great post with valentines day coming up <3 would love to hear your take on the different kinds of love out there. what does the thank you for saving me type of love look like?
aw thank you!! Such an interesting question, and I imagine it changes from person to person. For me, the "thank you for saving me" love was always finding someone at the exact time you need to to recover from whatever is ailing you. It's that type of love that sweeps in exactly when you need it most and shows you that things will be ok.
I think, like a lot of loves, it's not a forever love, but that doesn't mean it doesn't serve its purpose. Finding someone who gets you in a way that your last partner never did. Someone who goes out of their way to make you happy, when the last person made you feel high maintenance for the most basic asks. That kind of thing. It's the reminders that the things you want and the things that make you who you are are special, not a burden. It's just a matter of finding the right friends, partners, and relationships that celebrate those things with you.
I like this kind of love! it's very moving and reassuring knowing they'll be by your side when the going gets tough. Thankfully the tough doesn't last forever and you also won't have to lean on their support forever. They're there until you can find your footing. again great post! can't wait to read more
