I totally get what you mean about characters showing things we've hidden in ourselves. I definitely chose the characters I did because they are who they are without apologising for any of it. We could all be a bit more like that!
Yes!! And I'll sit there and think, why can't I just own it like they do?! Blair Waldorf was the first character I adored and thought "wait why is this happening we are NOTHING alike" and then, slowly, started to understand. And by the way this was only like, 7 years ago that I finally watched Gossip Girl so I was late 20s or so at the time. But I guess better late than never!
🤣 well my husband watched (and loved, I will say) all of Pretty Little Liars so it's not that far off. I've been trying to get him to re-watch GG for months haha
