Loved Rachel Incident and Ghosts - which I'm just finishing a re-read of right now! A recent success for me was 'The Wedding People' by Alison Espach, and have you had 'Careering' by Daisy Buchanan?

I’ve heard a lot about The Wedding People! Careering sounds 100% like something I’d pick up. Thank you for the recommendation!

I read "None Of This Is True" a couple of months ago, and wow, what a ride! I do enjoy most of Lisa Jewell's books, though.

One of my favorites last year was "Breathless" by Amy McCulloch. The writing is very atmospheric, which I love.

This year, I had nothing specific on my to-read list, just a goal of 18 books. I've started reading in bed to quiet my mind from real-life stressors before sleep, and that's helped me get more books in. I made it to 26 this year.

I was never a big reader growing up. Books weren't around the house, and I wasn't allowed a library card while growing up. My husband is a big reader, though, and after we got married, I started reading his books. Now, between us, we have quite the collection!

It was my first Lisa Jewell and I picked up three of her books immediately after 😆 I haven’t decided which of them to start though!

I haven’t heard of Breathless but it sounds really interesting! 26 books is super impressive, you beat me! 😆 I want to be someone who reads before bed but I end up getting sucked in and somehow my mind ends up more active. 🫣

I love that you found reading later in life, I feel like in some ways that makes your relationship with it all the more special. I have to admit it was my husband who partially reminded me of my love of reading because he was always reading for an hour or more before bed and just flying through books. We do not share the same books in taste sadly, haha
