The Hating Game by Sally Thorne—I finished this on Wednesday! This was one of the biggest surprises of the year, because I started it in the winter and almost immediately put it back down. I hated Joshua and had difficulty getting past how condescending he was in the first few pages. I’m not a fan of alpha men or the “angry jerk but I swear there’s a softie under there” trope so I had to get past that part and onto the vulnerability. Thankfully I did because I ended up really loving this for the banter! Can’t wait to watch the movie tonight with 🍕+🍷
